We currently have an excellent career opportunity for a Logistics Manager in the Atlanta area.  This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, detail-oriented self-starter.  The Logistics Manager will have the following responsibilities::

• Direct the management and supervision of receiving, storing and shipping of customer products.
• Manage manpower scheduling, utilization of space and effective management of human/equipment resources.
• Create, direct, and implement the planning process to assure customer requirements are met within negotiating pricing and cost projections.
• Analyze all operating data and reports for use by general management.
• Partner with HR and roll out all corporate initiatives
• Work with shift supervisors to implement best practices with respect to picking, receiving, shipping and inventory management.
• Manage customer processes and relationships.
• Ability to work in a large fast-paced environment.

Candidates selected to interview must meet the following minimum requirements for consideration for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree with five to eight years of direct warehouse experience.
• Three to five years of experience in management and supervision with demonstrated skills in planning, leading, controlling, organizing and staffing.
• Strong experience in operations management, inventory management, customer service.
