We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator at our headquarters in Des Plaines, IL.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Manage the relationship, including EDI cash receipts, deposit issues and bank contact relationships
• Process cash application and adjustments in the AR system.  Analyze issues with any of the entries.
• Perform a number of accounting functions for Accounts Receivable such as balancing A/R to G/L, reconciling clearing accounts, running of monthly integrity reports and other control issues as assigned. 
• Documenting A/R issues as needed for monthly reserves or various audits.
• Produce AR department reports on specific customers or groups of customers, AR management reports as requested.  Set up new accounts.
• Assist with insurance reporting.
• Assist with collections as time permits.

Candidates selected to interview must meet the following minimum requirements for the position:

• College Degree required
• Experience in accounting functions, preferably Accounts Receivable and General Ledger
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Detail oriented
• Able to work at a fast pace
• Maintain confidentiality
• Handle multiple tasks
