We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst at our corporate office in Des Plaines, IL.  Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include:

• Work in a cross functional team environment to support the business development of the company by providing pricing that aligns customers’ requirements with DSC’s objectives
• Prepare post-project reviews to identify key learnings from completed pricing proposals
• Maintain and enhance pricing models and cost information
• Develop new pricing for current customer base as required

Candidates selected to interview must meet the following minimum requirements for consideration for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
• 3 – 5 years related experience
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Motivated self-starter who can work with minimum supervision, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize activities, and work in a fast paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of general ledger
• Experience with JD Edwards a plus
• Knowledge of logistics operations a plus
