2010
	DSC's Logistics Center in Roanoke, Texas, which handles health care products, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals, has received Verified-Accredited Wholesale DistributorsR (VAWDR) accreditation from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). Accreditation is earned through an intensive criteria compliance review, licensure verification, background checks, and an in-depth onsite inspection. The VAWDR program is focused on assuring that distribution facilities employ security and best practices for safely distributing products and protecting public health.
	Inbound Logistics' 50 Green Supply Chain Partners DSC was named as one of the “50 Green Supply Chain Partners” by Inbound Logistics magazine, June 2010.
	Kellogg Company's First "Builder's Choice" Award Recipient DSC’s West Jefferson, OH, Logistics Center was presented with Kellogg Company’s inaugural “Builder’s Choice” award for 2009, given for outstanding Display Management.
	Kellogg Company's First "Diamond Award" Recipient DSC Logistics was presented with the newly created “Diamond Club” recognition, designed to recognize diverse partner companies with which Kellogg spends $25 million or more annually.
	R.J. Reynolds "Most Valuable Partner" Award DSC Logistics was honored with a “Most Valuable Partner” award from the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. The award was created several years ago to formally recognize companies that go above and beyond in their work with Reynolds. DSC's partnership with Reynolds began in 2009.
	2010 "Pros to Know" DSC’s CEO Ann Drake has been selected as one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine’s “2010 Provider Pros to Know.” The “Pros to Know” is a listing of individuals who have personally helped clients address the challenges of the recession and prepare for the recovery ahead.

	2009 Green Supply Chain Awards DSC received this award, highlighting companies that stand out for their projects to incorporate sustainability objectives into their own supply chains or to enable sustainability in their customers’ supply chains from Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine, November 2009.

	DC Velocity’s Rainmakers For the past seven years, DC Velocity has selected supply chain executives as “Rainmakers” for the leadership they provide in the field. In 2009, DSC Logistics’ CEO Ann Drake was named as one of 14 leaders – and the only woman – from across the nation.

	Ann Drake honored as Outstanding Leader in Industry by IIT, becomes first woman recognized at the 14th annual event Ann Drake, CEO of DSC Logistics, was named “Outstanding Leader in Industry” by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) at the 14th annual Industrial Technology and Management Awards Dinner.
	DSC Logistics becomes a SmartWay Transport Partner PartnerDSC has been accepted into the SmartWay Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the freight industry designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions, and improve energy security. DSC received certification in two areas; as a logistics provider and a carrier partner.
2008
	DSC's McDonough I Logistics Center awarded Kimberly-Clark Health Care 2008 Distribution Center of the Year The McDonough I Logistics Center outscored other Kimberly-Clark warehouses in the areas of cost measurements, productivity, storage density, order accuracy, on-time shipping, procedures, inventory accuracy, a DC audit and total damage with a final score of over 100% to win the Kimberly-Clark Health Care 2008 Distribution Center of the Year.
	MeadWestvaco 2008 Supplier of the Year MeadWestvaco awarded DSC "2008 Diverse Supplier of the Year" at their 2nd annual Supplier Diversity Summit in February, 2009.
	Philip Morris USA “Supplier Achievement Award” At its annual “Supplier Recognition and Engagement Event” in April 2008, Philip Morris USA presented DSC Logistics with the Supplier Achievement Award in the area of customer service and merchandising.

ISO 9001:2000 DSC Logistics has implemented a management system for internationally recognized service quality that is certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. This certification was awarded to our Colonial Heights, VA, Huntersville, NC, and Greensboro, NC, Logistics Centers by the Preferred Registrar Group, an accredited member of The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.

AIB Certified (American Institute of Baking) All required food-grade DSC Logistics Centers are AIB certified.

NSF Certified (NSF-Cook & Thurber)
DSC’s Arlington, Texas Logistics Center is NSF certified.

FDA Compliant DSC Logistics Centers provide a secure environment for food, healthcare, electronics and high value consumer goods in addition to compliance with Security requirements for Public Health Safety and Bio-Terrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 and 49 CFR Hazardous Material Regulations.

Medical Device Distributor license
DSC’s Roanoke, Texas Logistics Center is a licensed Medical Device Distributor under the Texas Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act.

Pharmaceutical wholesale distributor license – pending
DSC’s pharmaceutical products wholesaler license is pending with the California State Board of Pharmacy.

Individual U.S. Customs Broker license
This license demonstrates DSC's expertise in customs regulations.

Foreign Trade Zone Certified DSC’s Joliet Logistics Center is certified and activated as a Foreign Trade Zone.

Women’s Business Enterprise Certified DSC Logistics is certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Women's Business Development Center (WBDC). WBDC is the Chicago affiliate of WBENC, the largest third-party certifier of U.S. businesses owned and operated by women.

Federal and State Tax Exemptions
DSC has several facilities in geographies in which the Triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption is granted. Triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption, which applies to local taxing jurisdictions – city, county and school district -- allows companies meeting certain criteria to eliminate inventory tax on product that leaves the state of Texas within 175 days.
