Ken Heller is Chief Operating Officer. He has responsibility for all Warehouse Management (WM) Operations, TES (Technology, Engineering, Systems & Solutions), and Safety, Security and Compliance.

Ken leads the CJ Logistics Warehouse Management Operations strategy centered on creating value for customers and employees. As COO, Ken promotes a culture of operational excellence and fosters CJ Logistics principles of Integrity, Passion, Creativity and Respect. A long-time champion of continuous improvement and technology, he is focused on accelerating and integrating leading practices, CI, TES and innovation.

Ken has a passion for maximizing the potential of integrated supply chain solutions across the end-to-end supply chain, with experience leading warehousing, transportation and engineering disciplines. Previously, as Chief Transportation Officer, Ken had responsibility for the company’s Transportation business, including Managed Transportation, Asset Based Solutions and Freight Forwarding, and played a key role in establishing and implementing the vision for integrated global supply chain transportation solutions.

Ken began his career with Kraft Foods and joined CJ Logistics in 1994. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and operations, including Vice President, Business Process Integration. He was named Vice President, Supply Chain Excellence in 2007, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Excellence in 2012 and CTO in 2020.

Ken leads the Business Advisory Board of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Center for Supply Chain Management and Logistics and is on the Supply Chain Advisory Board at Indiana University (IU). He has a BS in Finance from Indiana University and an MS in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University.
