Transportation leaders to participate in webinars about supply chain in difficult times

Transportation leaders from DSC Logistics, now CJ Logistics America, will join other industry leaders to discuss how to keep supply chains agile, resilient and efficient in difficult times.

CTO to speak at Northwestern University Transportation Center roundtable

Chief Transportation Officer Ken Heller will be a featured speaker on “Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Networks under COVID-19” during the Asynchronous Virtual Roundtable hosted by Northwestern University Transportation Center (NUTC) on April 30, 3-5 pm CDT.

Heller and other industry leaders will discuss how third-party logistics providers are helping add resilience to US supply chains for critical items under COVID-19.

The webinar, the fifth in the series of roundtables sponsored by NUTC, is open to the public. It is co-sponsored by Northwestern Buffett Institute for Global Affairs.

Transportation Technology manager to participate in webinar on multimodal optimization

Cheryl Tavolier, Manager, Transportation Technology, will participate in the webinar, “Using Multimodal Optimization to Create an Agile Transportation Network,” May 6 at 2 pm ET.

The webinar, presented by MercuryGate, will also include executives from enVista and Sprouts in a discussion about how transportation optimization can create greater efficiencies in times of supply chain disruption. Discussion topics will include how optimization can provide visibility to understand risks for all modes, enable a data-driven multimodal shipping plan, assess a wide variety of capacity constraints and allow for compatibility across multiple shipment types.
