CFO David Copeland named a Mid-Size Private Company Finalist for Chicago CFO of the Year Award

CFO David Copeland is one of seven Mid-Size Private Company Finalists for the 2017 Chicago CFO of the Year Award, given by Financial Executives International (FEI) Chicago Chapter.

One CFO of the Year award is presented in each of five company categories: public, mid-size private, large private, mid-size not-for-profit and large not-for-profit. The awards honor senior financial leaders who have made significant contributions to a business or non-profit in the Chicago area. The recipients of the CFO of the Year awards will be announced at the networking and awards gala on November 1.

Dave joined DSC Logistics in 2007 as Vice President and Controller, took on responsibility for Finance in 2008, and was named CFO in 2010. Under his leadership, the company has achieved consistently strong financial performance through a combination of revenue growth, improved financial processes, and a focus on efficiency and productivity.

FEI, an association for CFOs and other senior financial executives in the United States and Canada, provides networking, advocacy and timely updates on financial management, reporting, compliance and regulatory issues.
